OPEN LAPTOP

Open Laptop is a forum for local artists to share their artwork—finished products, works-in-progress, video, and digitally mediated artwork—with each other and with St. Louis. Think of Open Laptop as an open mic night for visual artists.

The Open Laptop program is curated in order to promote diversity in presentation. The evening welcomes approximately ten presenters and each artist receives eight minutes to show their work, followed by a question and answer session.Presentations are short and concise and each evening is emceed by a local art expert. The mood is somewhere between a grade school show-and-tell and an art-school critique.
