Homegrown,
an exhibition by independent curator Dana Turkovic
(April 1 - 13, 2008)

Local, independent curator Dana Turkovic will present “Homegrown,” a reading room and temporary archive (designed by local artists Sarah Colby and Kim Humphries) that gathers together the art, printed matter, and ephemera in the collections of St. Louis’s visual arts community. Inviting locals artists, curators, art historians, critics, collectors, dealers and writers to loan meaningful pieces from their personal collections—from art works to films to novels, essays and letters—Turkovic presents an assemblage of voices that each help to shape St. Louis’s cultural landscape.
