After the tour, take a seat for a lecture by distinguished speaker Philippe Vergne. Named the director of the Dia Art Foundation in 2008, co-curator of the 2006 Whitney Biennial and for ten years a curator at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Philippe Vergne comes to the Contemporary to talk about the work of Gedi Sibony.

The Contemporary’s 5th Anniversary Season culminates with a major gala celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel honoring St. Louis artists Tom Friedman and Ernest Trova. The evening features fine cuisine and fabulous wine, a live benefit auction conducted by a major New York contemporary art specialist. Proceeds from the event support the exhibitions and education programs at the Contemporary.
