Button-O-Matic Vending Machine

The Contemporary's Button-O-Matic vending machine is in Muse, the Contemporary's gift shop. Inside of what appears to be a standard gumball machine are tiny capsules, each containing a one inch button? For 75 cents, anyone can own an artist-designed badge.

Have a great idea for a button? You could be one of the artists showcased in our Button-O-Matic. We're putting a call out for submissions to be selected for the Spring/Summer 2008 series. Your work could be chosen to be part of the series and available in Button-O-Matics across the country! Please follow the guidelines below and submit work via email to info@contemporarystl.org.

Submissions must be received no later than June 15, 2008.

Each artist can submit up to three designs. Final artwork should be no greater than one inch in diameter. Designs must be in Mac or PC-compatible files in Adobe Illustrator (please create outlines for text), Photoshop or similar application to create a hi-res JPG, TIF, or EPS at 300 dpi and CMYK.
