Creating a satellite gallery and work-space for their two-week venture in the Contemporary’s Front Room, Boots Contemporary Art Space founder Juan William Chávez, along with international Agents and Boot Print Editor-in-chief Georgia Kotretsos, will offer, in addition to the “visual presence of contemporary art,” a reading room for their newest Boot Print publication, video screening curated by Tim Ridlen, and a Boots information center. Special events will include a Dada Ball Candy Shop on March 8th, an all day Saturday performance by Deva Eveland, and the creation of temporary promotional headquarters for Silverio, a Mexico City-based artist and musician who will perform live at the Contemporary in April 2008.
