Limited edition sculpture

Silver River - Mississippi, 2007

We are honored to present a new limited artist edition by Maya Lin. Created on the occasion of her exhibition at the Contemporary, Silver River – Mississippi continues Lin’s exploration of the contours of natural forms. A silver-cast sculpture whose thin, sinuous shape traces the path of the Mississippi River, the work is mounted with pins that fix to the wall, as it is intended to be installed. The edition is presented a hot-stamped portfolio box.
Silver River - Mississippi was produced as an edition of thirty and is available for $15,000, with all proceeds benefiting the exhibitions program at the Contemporary.

Special Edition Wallpaper
by Jim Hodges, 2007
This wallpaper work by Jim Hodges is based on his delicate, lyrical drawing From This Way Through (1999). This wallpaper was designed by the artist on the occasion of the Contemporary’s popular exhibition, I Remember Heaven: Jim Hodges and Andy Warhol.
This beautiful wallpaper is highlighted with gold stars and is sure to be a stunning addition to any collector’s home. The edition was produced in an unlimited edition with an initial printing of 100 rolls, and is available in five-yard two-roll sets that, combined, cover an area that is 38 inches wide (each two-roll set covers an area that is 38 inches wide by five yards long).

Janaina Tschäpe: Melantropics, 2006
Limited Edition Print
Produced by Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis on the occasion of Janaina Tschäpe: Melantropics, this photograph was taken on location inside the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Climatron during the German and Brazilian artist’s residency in the Spring 2006. This special artist edition is limited to 20 prints and was included in Tschäpe’s series, Melantropics, featured at the Contemporary. In Tres Tria Bulbosus, Tschäpe constructs an imaginary environment that exists between the natural and the artificial as young, quiescent women in biomorphic artist-made costumes becomes a fantastical creature. This edition continues the artist's interest in gardens from around the globe.
