GROUP AND PUBLIC TOUR INFORMATION

The Contemporary offers three exhibitions seasons each year, each providing an ever-changing experience and unique opportunity to explore the visual arts.  Make the most out of your visit to the Contemporary with a special tour of the exhibitions! 

Free public tours are scheduled most weeks on Saturdays at 12:00 noon. These tours are approximately forty-five minutes long, do not require reservations, and are open to everyone. Please check the events calendar to confirm available public tour times.  

The Contemporary provides special docent-led tours for schools and community groups during our general hours of operation.  Docents actively engage visitors in learning about art, exploring underlying themes and the wonders of contemporary art.  Due to the interactive nature of docent-led tours, the size of the group is limited to 30 visitors.

If you would like to schedule a group tour at the Contemporary, please contact Katrina Hallowell by email at katrina.hallowell@contemporarystl.org or by phone at 314-535-0770 x218, a minimum of three weeks in advance of the desired tour date.  Admission fees are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors on days other than Wednesday and Saturday.  Your admission contribution supports the exhibitions and education programs of the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.

SCHOOL TOURS
The Contemporary offers free admission and docent-led tours to groups of students.
