On April 17, 2010 the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis will host Dada Ball 2010: Dada Rocks with Decades to benefit the Museum's educational and outreach programs.

Our Honorary Chair "Dream Team" includes vintage couture guru and taste maker Cameron Silver - named by Time Magazine as one of the 25 most influential people in fashion, St. Louis native and fashion insider Derek Blasberg, 17-year old Vogue supermodel sensation Karlie Kloss, and Academy Award nominated actress and Golden Globe winner, muse, model and designer Chloë Sevigny.

The evening of the Dada Ball will feature a red carpet-worthy vintage couture fashion show with designs from Cameron's celebrated boutique Decades, cocktails and dinner by Winslow's Home, and an auction of high end and unique fashion-related items. More than 350 of St. Louis' most fashionable and influential people will be in attendance, plus several hundred more at the legendary Dada Ball After Party, starting at
10:00 pm
, with bites provided by Mosaic and Ruth's Chris Steak House and a “Best Dressed” competition produced by St. Louis Magazine - two winners will walk away with a $500 gift certificate to Saks Fifth Avenue among other prizes!

8:30 pm Dada-Inspired Fashion Show of Vintage Couture Gowns from Decades, LA

SOLD OUT $1,000 Sustainer: Includes all benefits of a Patron ticket PLUS reserved seating with bottle service and reserved preferred seating for the Fashion Show.
SOLD OUT $500 Patron: Includes all benefits of a Friend ticket PLUS reserved seating for the Fashion Show and Patron swag bag.
$200 Friend: Includes one ticket to the Dada Ball and After Party and complimentary valet parking.
$35 After Party only: Includes admission at 10:00 pm with complimentary drinks, bites and valet parking.

In addition to the main event, we are planning an amazing weekend-long Dada extravaganza highlighting the collaboration between art and fashion.

Friday, April 16th: Fashion Lecture, “The Role of Media in Fashion in the 21st Century,” featuring Honorary Chairs Cameron Silver and Derek Blasberg as well as a panel of local experts. Hosted in collaboration with Washington University at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.

Saturday, April 17th: Book Signing at Left Bank Books downtown (321 N. 10th Street, 63101). Derek Blasberg will promote his new book, Classy: Be a Lady Not a Tramp,
from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
