The Contemporary presents work that is bold, experimental, sometimes striking, other time subtle. Your gift provides the Contemporary with essential operating support that we put to immediate use for our ongoing work: the commission and production of new artwork, the creation of diverse education programs, and the publication of scholarship. Your gift provides the funds necessary to allow the community to study and reflect on the ideas presented by contemporary artists and grants unique ways to experience contemporary art through a stimulating array of lectures, classes, performances, and events.

Green Membership

A green membership is a commitment from Contemporary members to support the museum and the green initiatives at the museum. It will drastically reduce the amount of printed materials that members receive from the museum. Instead of receiving printed materials, green members will receive electronic communications such as electronic exhibition announcements, event invitations, and the museum’s newsletters and magazine. Additionally, membership renewals will be sent via email.

The cost of a green membership is currently the same as a regular membership. Current, new, or renewed members may switch their membership to a green membership without effecting their current expiration date. Individual and Family memberships levels can be made into a green membership.
